Microsoft Makes Hostile Bid for Yahoo - Developing Story
Microsoft is offering $44.6 billion for the floundering Yahoo. The $31 a share represents a 62% premium to Yahoo's $19.18 yesterday. Microsoft expects the deal to close this half. Yahoo would help MIcrosoft level the playing field with Google.
