ASP.NET vs Ruby on Rails

James Avery has worked with ASP.NET for a long time, but recently he's fallen in love with Ruby on Rails.  Rails is perfect for a 2-person startup like the one Avery runs.  The framework provides one-click deployment, unlike ASP.NET, which has a different deployment process meant for large to medium-sized businesses where developers need to get approvals from managers or QA departments.  Avery still does ASP.NET screencasts at his recently launched site called TekPub.  At TekPub.com you can find in-depth developer screencasts that take you through a given technology as if you were reading about it in a book.

James Avery is the founder of Adzerk and the co-founder of TekPub.  TekPub provides comprehensive screencasts for programmers.  He started Adzerk by writing a .NET ad network called 'The Lounge'.  'Ruby Row' was the same thing, but for Ruby developed sites.
